We are currently accepting applications for an additional Sales Representative to join our Shimano Australia Cycling (SAUS) team in Queensland.
Reporting to Sales Management, the primary objectives of this role include but are not limited to:
Striving to maintain existing dealer database and identifying opportunities for new business growth and profitability.
Effective planning, delivering and presenting sales activities, promotional material and new product range to dealers
Ability to manage, influence and negotiate with a wide variety of stakeholders is crucial
Preparing reports, identifying sales trends, and conducting market research
The appointed candidate will be required to travel regularly within the South Brisbane River to Northern NSW region and have the preparedness to travel to regional areas such as Ipswich, Lismore, Ballina and Yamba on an as needed basis. Occasional travel to the Shimano Australia head office in Sydney, NSW may be requested at times.
To be successful in this role you will need to have:
Proven experience as a sales representative or broad knowledge of cycling products attained through store management exposure.
Ability to build strategic relationships with dealers when attending store appointments and preparing of store orders
Strong sales acumen and the confidence to negotiate firmly when closing a deal
Able to work independently and be highly organised
Possess excellent verbal communication and written skills
Computer literate and proficient in using with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.
Familiarity with Pronto CRM is not essential though well regarded
Full Australian drivers’ licence and own vehicle
