Sales and marketing manager - Asia Pacific

As the Sales and Marketing Manager for Asia Pacific you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, expanding our customer base, and fostering relationships with customers and retail partners. With a strong focus on Indonesia, our largest market in the region.


Core objectives include, but are not limited to:


• Develop and implement sales plans: Create comprehensive sales plans for the Asia Pacific Market, aligning with company objectives and market trends, to drive revenue growth and increase market share.


• Manage retail team: Oversee and motivate the retail network in the Asia Pacific region. Cultivating long-term relationships and ensuring consistent brand representation.


• Monitor market trends: Stay up to date with trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences in the Asia Pacific market and provide insights for product development and customer experience improvement strategies.


• Customer Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with key customers and influencers to understand their needs to ensure we deliver a high level of customer satisfaction.


• Attend Events: Represent Bastion Cycles at events across Asia designed to showcase our products and elevate the ownership experience for our customers and collaborate with the Customer Experience teams to facilitate them.


• Reporting and Analysis: Regularly review sales performance and generate reports to present to the CEO, highlighting areas needing improvement and proposed actions where applicable.


• Collaborate with Marketing: Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional events, campaigns, advertising and product launches for the Asia Pacific region.


Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business


Experience:

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in business in the Asia Pacific region. Preferably Indonesia.

• Strong Management and leadership track record, particularly managing external partners and relationships.

• Minimum 4 years working in the cycling industry or associated industries


Other Requirements:

• Willingness and ability to travel regularly to Asia, mostly Indonesia.

• Fluent in English and Malay. Additional knowledge of Thai is an advantage, but not essential.

• Excellent cycling ability and fitness in order to lead and join cycling events representing Bastion Cycles.
