About the Role:
The ABUS, EVOC and Lezyne - Product Manager is the brand ambassador, face of and key driver of the ABUS, EVOC and Lezyne brands in the Australian market. This role is responsible for ensuring a deep understanding of the global strategic direction of the brand/s. The Product Manager for ABUS, EVOC and Lezyne will work collaboratively with key PSIC stakeholders, to support the product portfolio, distribution and marketing strategies for the ABUS, EVOC and Lezyne brands.
You will be required to:
Build out a financial plan to deliver on our mutually aligned business sales, margin and inventory goals
Communicate the brand vision and goals to the Marketing Team, to assist with the development of a clearly defined Go-To-Market strategy
Work with customers, support, and other outside influencers to ensure a well-rounded understanding of product needs is being properly considered
Be involved in Strategic Sales and Marketing team planning sessions, providing continuous advice, clarification, and guidance during the execution of each GTM launch
Work with our Field Market Developers to achieve brand excellence
Offer technical and warranty advice where required
Deliver localised competitor data sets
Create SKU's/product profiles
Manage the inventory purchasing and the delivery cycle
Review inline, excess and obsolete inventory velocity on a monthly basis to ensure sales plans/initiatives are in place to maximise sell-through
Maintain Purchase Orders and accuracy of this data
Communicate localised strategic brand direction, product needs and marketing strategies to the brand partners on a quarterly basis
Attend trade shows and travel in market connecting with Retail Partners and Field Market Developers
About You:
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate:
Prior experience working as a Product Manager or similar, preferably in the Bicycle industry.
A degree in business, marketing, commerce or similar preferred.
Knowledge of common customer marketing analytics including customer segmentation, offer optimisation, propensity modelling.
Strong analytical understanding and ability to work with large data sets.
Background in a product development discipline & analytics.
Strong time management skills and project management skills.
Excellent communication and professional approach with the ability to present to large audiences.
Ability to travel in market 15-20% of the time connecting with Retail Partners and FMD’s.
