LEON CYCLE – Your e-bike specialist!
The Managing Director, Australia and New Zealand will be the top executive responsible for leading and managing the e-bike distribution business in the region. This role will have overall strategic and operational responsibility for the company, including sales, marketing, operations, finance, and human resources.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan to drive business growth and expansion in Australia and New Zealand
Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, including the launch of new products and expansion into new channels
Oversee the sales and marketing efforts in the region, including the development and execution of promotional campaigns, the management of key accounts and partnerships, and the coordination of events and tradeshows
Manage the operations of the business, including logistics, inventory management, and customer service, to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery of products to customers
Lead the finance function, including the preparation of budgets and forecasts, the management of financial performance, and the development of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders
Manage and develop the team, including hiring, training, and performance management, to ensure the organization has the necessary skills and resources to meet its goals and objectives
Work closely with the CEO to ensure alignment with company-wide goals and objectives, and to represent the company at industry events and with key stakeholders
Keep abreast of industry trends and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement, and implement changes as necessary
Qualifications:
A minimum of 10 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in the e-bike or related industry
Proven track record of driving business growth and success, with a strong focus on results and customer satisfaction
Strong strategic planning and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and capitalize on new opportunities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team
Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting and forecasting, with the ability to analyze financial data and make informed business decisions
Experience managing and developing a team, with a strong focus on building a positive and collaborative culture
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, MBA preferred
