We are currently accepting applications for an enthusiastic and self-motivated IT Support Officer to join our on-site Shimano Oceania Holdings team in Caringbah.
As IT Support Officer, you will be responsible for delivering onsite IT support for our employees based in Australia and New Zealand. This office-based role will be a combination of Level 1 & 2 support coupled with hands on hardware support for the team. We are looking for an individual who is an autonomous, self-driven professional who takes pride in providing timely I.T related resolutions.
The duties include but do not limit:
Monitor and respond quickly for Level 1 and Level 2 Customer Support issues.
Maintain computer systems and act as support if any system goes down.
Maintain user PCs, including upgrades and configuration as needed.
Assist with onboarding of new users.
Keep inventory of all equipment, software, and license users.
Carry out defined project tasks as needed with the support of the IT Manager
Work with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems with computing equipment and software when required.
Redirect unresolved issues to the IT Manager.
Train and orient staff on use of hardware and software.
Assist in purchase of IT related hardware and software.
Assist in maintaining all IT inventory and IT contract details.
To be successful in this role you will need to have:
Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Studies or working towards.
Level 1 and Level 2 IT Helpdesk Support experience.
Windows 10/Office 365/Active Directory support experience
Proven hardware support experience
The ability to work in an autonomous environment
Good problem-solving skills
Strong customer-focused mindset
