The role

As part of the AusCycling Corporate Services Team, you will be primarily responsible for ensuring the Human Resources and Payroll systems are working smoothly and are aligned with industry best practice. You will also play a key role in developing and applying Health and Safety policies in line with the latest legal and regulatory obligations. Working with colleagues across the Corporate Service Team, you will also:

  • Support the finance team with monthly and annual reporting,

  • Work with senior managers to deliver end-to-end recruitment,

  • Manage payroll and leave reporting,

  • Provide HR advice on employee performance management, resolution of grievances and opportunities for development,

  • Play a role in building team culture and enshrining AusCycling’s core values and behaviours.

About you

You have a tertiary degree in HR and/or Accounting or other relevant tertiary qualification. You will be an energetic self-starter happy to work both in a team and independently.

You have strong communications skills, attention to detail and proven ability to negotiate and resolve disputes. You are proficient in the use of HR and Payroll systems such as ELMO and Xero and confident in the use of online tools and resources to support a range of processes relevant to your role. Importantly, you look for ways to constantly improve the way things are done and are confident in presenting your ideas for change.
