We're pedalling hard to build a nation of bikes riders and we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join us in our team, based from our Melbourne CBD office!
About the Opportunity
As the Business Development Manager, you will have the ability to create and apply an effective business development strategy to Bicycle Network's products and services. In your first six months, you will excel by building relationships with our existing partners and sponsors while seeking out new opportunities from a wide range of potential partners. The goal is secure fundraising and partnership opportunities (through event sponsorships, memberships, grants) that fuel our organisation and make it easier for everyone to ride a bike.
How you'll do that:
Plan, develop and deliver a sound Business Development strategy and plan
Securing grants and developing networks for the Ride2School program at the state and federal level
Build strong, professional relationships with the stakeholders and key funders who work with us to make our programs and events a success.
Grow revenue through brilliant execution and a deep focus on exceeding expectations
Ensure reporting, financial management and acquittal is completed to Bicycle Network's high standards

While this role is based in our Melbourne CBD office, there are options for hybrid working conditions.
Experience within not-for-profits, sports, or health organisations would be beneficial, but are not essential. We aim to be committed, honest, inclusive, and progressive in all we do. You don't have to ride, but believing in an active future is a must for us!
