Abbotsford cycles are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic sales person to join our team. The position will be full time with Saturdays being worked on a rotating roster. As a small shop you would be handling the majority of sales and customer service throughout the day. We are only looking for applicants who have experience in the bicycle industry. We are a repair & accessory based shop and a high level of bicycle knowledge is essential.
Job tasks and responsibilities
Reporting to the store manager your duties will include;
Customer service and processing sales
Answering phone enquiries
Booking in repairs by assessing the bicycle and providing the customer with options and prices
Receiving and putting away stock
Assisting with online and special orders
Store housekeeping
Assisting with social media
Skills and experience
Previous experience in the bicycle industry is required
Previous sales experience required
Good knowledge of bicycles, parts and accessories required
Enthusiastic about bicycles and working in the industry
Ability to learn quickly and good multitasking skills
Excellent communication skills
Proven job stability
Punctual and reliable
Basic computer skills
