We have an exciting opportunity to join our team. We are currently recruiting a part time sales associate.
We are a fun, supportive, family-owned small business in Darwin city. We promote a healthy active lifestyle with work/ life balance. We also love coffee and pastries. Cycle Zone is open weekdays 8-5 and Saturday morning 9-1. We are closed on Sunday and Public Holidays.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring the customer has a comfortable and warm experience
Retail sales. Exceptional customer service and merchandising
Thorough understanding of the POS system and online booking program
Inventory control including entering stock into POS, stock take, ordering, keeping ahead of trends and customer requirements.
Warranty management including paper trail and customer communication.
Management of the workshop bookings and billing.
Qualifications and experience:
A passion for cycling (mtb, road, commuting, weekend explorer, bmx all accepted here) is essential
A desire to make cultivate relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues
Exceptional attention to detail. Willingness to follow and create checklists and procedures.
Data entry and order processing with same-day turnaround requiring time management and organizational skills with the ability to perform under pressure while maintaining a calm disposition
Aptitude for learning software and IT programs.
A willingness to learn and an ability to listen.

This is a part time position. We require someone for 3 full days, 8am to 5pm plus every 3rd Saturday morning.
