Chain Reaction Bicycle Company was established in 1992 in the Cronulla Area. It quickly outgrew its first store and moved to the current location in 1994. Since its inception, Chain Reaction has been a leader in quality, range and service to the Sydney Area and beyond.
Chain reaction is currently looking for a new team member in our workshop, the role will include assembly of new bikes, custom bike builds, repairs and servicing. We work to a high standard and our aim is to exceed customer expectations. Having experience in a bicycle workshop is essential as well as a knowledge of retail booking systems.
About the role
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include booking workshop repairs instore & on the phone, repairs and bike builds along with providing feedback to the customer on what has been done & how best to look after their bike. We regard reliability, friendliness and a can-do attitude highly valuable.
Essential Duties and responsibilities:
Experience in bicycle servicing, wheel building and electronic systems across all categories of bikes is highly desirable
Must provide exemplary skills in both product knowledge and relationship building
Assisting with general sales for bikes and accessories
Provide excellent customer service to Chain Reaction Bicycles customers
Learn and understand the Chain Reaction Bicycles brands and incorporate those into the retail operation.
Must be a positive team player and demonstrate collaborative skills within the department and with other departments in the bike Shop
A Willingness to grow your skills as a mechanic
Eye for detail
Great communication with customers and teammates
Renumeration based on experience.
