Bike mechanic - Perth

Our family owned business located in Clarkson, is 27 minutes north of the city, relies on quality staff and providing exceptional customer service. About the Role

We are currently seeking an all rounder to join our team. The role will include some mechanical repairs, bike building and customer service.

This position is flexible with either Full-time or part-time available, with a minimum of 3 days per week (including Saturday).  

Some experience as a bicycle shop mechanic is preferred, must be mechanical and technical minded person preferably with experience working on road, mountain and e-bikes and able to work with independently. Your duties will include new bicycle builds, bicycle repairs, workshop presentation, customer liaison and other duties as required.

If there are things you haven't done before or need support learning, we are happy to facilitate, so long as you have a good baseline knowledge. Our clients have a broad mix of high end road, MTB and e-bikes, as well as recreational, so you get to work on the latest tech and use our modern, fully equipped workshop, with support from another senior mechanic and management to ensure you achieve your best.

 

About you:

To succeed in this role you should have a solid knowledge of mechanics, sales and customer service, be well presented, know tools, familiar with or capable of learning digital servicing and diagnostic equipment, including the latest technology and trends in the industry. 

Our ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail with excellent communication and customer service skills. You should be focused on providing high quality service to clients as you identify, repair and avert issues that may affect the performance or longevity of their pride and joy.

You should be thorough, reliable, honest, logical and motivated. A person who is a bicycle enthusiast who rides for their sport, hobby, passion or past-time but would be great as our team like to compare notes, compete and have some banter!
