About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic bicycle mechanic to join our team full-time, working 38 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
Service and assemble high-performance bicycles, including road, mountain, and electric bikes
Communicate effectively with customers regarding bookings, inquiries, job status, costs, and quotes via phone, email, or in-person
Provide exceptional customer service, troubleshoot issues, and resolve problems efficiently
Continuously improve workshop efficiency and processes, collaborating with other technicians to optimize workflow
Assist the workshop manager in managing inventory and stock levels
Perform warranty work on all types of bicycles
Manage service bookings via phone, email, or walk-in appointments as required
What You Need to Join:
Previous experience as a bicycle mechanic, preferably in a high-end workshop
Strong understanding of bike technology and mechanical aptitude
Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines
Exceptional quality and attention to detail, with a keen eye for precision in builds and repairs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service
Ability to work independently, taking direction from the workshop manager as needed
High level of organization, with strong time management skills and a proactive approach to workflow
Availability to work weekends
Passion for cycling is a must
