Are you passionate about bikes and love getting your hands dirty? We’re looking for a Bike Mechanic to join the team at My Ride Cairns and help keep our customers rolling. If you take pride in quality workmanship, enjoy solving mechanical challenges, and want to work in a team that lives and breathes bikes, we’d love to hear from you!
About the Role:
As our in-store mechanic, you’ll be working on everything from basic servicing and builds to complete overhauls. You’ll play a key role in delivering top-notch service, both behind the scenes and face-to-face with customers. While you will primarily be in the workshop, this role will also include customer facing bike sales. Previous sales experience is preferred but not essential.

🔧 Strong mechanical skills – experience in bike servicing and repairs is essential.🚴 Attention to detail – delivering safe, reliable, and high-quality work every time.💬 Customer-focused – able to explain technical issues in a clear, friendly way.👥 Team player – works well with sales staff to deliver a great all-round experience.📅 Weekend availability – we’re open 7 days, so flexibility is a plus.
