We are seeking a passionate Bicycle Mechanic / Retail Worker to join our dynamic team at bark off biking' in Derby, Tasmania. This casual position offers the opportunity to work in a vibrant retail environment, combining your expertise in bicycle maintenance and repair with excellent customer service skills.
What you'll be doing
Providing professional bicycle repair and servicing to maintain our customers' and rental bikes in top condition
Assisting customers with product selection and offering expert advice on biking equipment and accessories
Maintaining a clean, organised and well-stocked retail space
Handling cash and card transactions while providing a seamless shopping experience
Supporting the wider team with various store operations as required
What we're looking for
Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in bicycle mechanics and repair
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to provide friendly and knowledgeable assistance
Enthusiasm for the cycling industry and a passion for helping others enjoy the sport
Reliable, organised and able to work independently as well as part of a team
Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including evenings and weekends
