Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Bike Fitter to join our team. In this role, you will work directly with customers to ensure their bikes are tailored to their individual needs and riding style. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with bike fitting, a deep understanding of cycling biomechanics, and a commitment to delivering top-notch customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct professional bike fitting sessions for customers, ensuring optimal comfort, performance, and injury prevention.
Use state-of-the-art motion sensing tools and software to analyse riders' positions and make adjustments.
Adjust bike components (e.g., saddle height, handlebar position, cleat alignment) for a personalised fit.
Educate customers on the benefits of a proper bike fit and how it improves their riding experience.
Assist customers with selecting bikes, accessories, and components based on their individual needs and preferences.
Stay up-to-date with the latest bike fitting technologies and trends in the cycling industry.
Provide post-fit support and follow-up to ensure continued customer satisfaction.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace, including bike fitting equipment and tools.
Requirements:
Knowledge of cycling biomechanics and ergonomics.
Some experience with bike fitting software and tools (preferred but not required).
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to assess individual riders' needs and recommend personalised solutions.
Passion for cycling and helping others achieve their performance goals.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Certification in bike fitting or sports science (preferred but not required).
