Tune Cycles is growing and needs experienced mechanics looking for career progression. This role suits experienced bicycle workshop managers, bike mechanics, and mobile bike mechanics who'd like to become future leaders of the business.
As a leader of the team, your days will involve:
Managing multiple staff in a dynamic work environment Our service work is completed in and out of the workshop. With drop-offs, pick-ups and off-site services happening simultaneously good time management and coordination skills are critical.
Keeping on top of a busy Service & Repair schedule. We work to a schedule and aim to complete most jobs with same-day turnaround.
Maintaining stock and keeping on top of special parts orders Good stock management is critical for quick repair turnaround.
Leading by Example The role involves being hands-on, sharing experience and supporting junior mechanics with on-the-job training and development.
In addition to day-to-day service work, we also offer a number of technical services (wheel building, suspension servicing, electric motor overhauls, etc.) that are growing strongly.

is passionate about cycling
has experience working as a bicycle mechanic
has in-depth knowledge of Shimano, SRAM, Bosch, Fox & Rockshox
has customer service and retail management experience
has excellent interpersonal and communication skills
can effectively manage and organise work in a systematic and timely manner
has a demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
holds a current full Australian driver's licence (This is essential)
