Role Purpose:
Pedal Group was successfully accredited as a B-Corp in December 2023.
This role will take full ownership to lead Pedal Group’s plan to be re-accredited as a B-Corp under the new standards.
A key part will be understanding in detail the B-Corp standard requirements, then translating the new standards into practical initiatives that are executed across the Pedal Group to improve our social & environmental impact. This role will also develop an end to end plan, for Pedal Group to be net zero by 2030.

Role Objectives:
The objective of this role is to deploy smart initiatives that will improve Pedal Group as a “Force for Good”. While ultimate success will be in Pedal Group being re-accredited as a B-Corp in 2027, a key part of this role will be to:
Engage our people & embed world class best practice in across all areas of Environmental, Sustainability & Governance (ESG) impact
To set up and execute a plan for Pedal Group to be net zero by 2030
To lead our annual reporting to all stakeholders, including working with suppliers that have high ESG standards
The role will take responsibility for ESG compliance obligations such as our Modern Slavery review & internal Environmental awards; and
Will deploy existing policies & roll-out new policies, working closely with operational leaders, to ensure world class standards, that become business as usual
Key Performance Indicators:
B-Corp new standards compliance
B-Corp re-accreditation score annual year on year improvement from baseline
B-Corp engagement across Pedal Group
Measurable progress towards carbon net zero
Qualifications / Experience:
No specific B-Corp or ESG experience needed;
Passion for making a difference across all areas of ESG is required;
Ability to understand complicated standards & simplify outcomes needed;
Engage Operational leaders to roll out initiatives across geographically dispersed teams a non negotiable & key competency

Salary:
Based on experience & proven track record
Broad target annual salary range of $70k to $130k pa
NB - flexibility for the role to be 1-2 days a week or full-time, pending the best person.
