We’re looking for an exceptional accountant to join the BikesOnline finance team and increase our ability to scale. This role will be based in our head office in Frenchs Forest, Sydney. What Will You Do?
The Accounting Manager will be responsible for a number of critical financial and management accounting processes within the BikesOnline group. The role reports to the Financial Controller and is supported by one accountant. You will be responsible for:
Managing the month-end accounting process, reconciliations and compliance
Preparation of monthly financial reports and management reporting analysis
Financial operations processes for order to cash, accounts payable & payroll
Treasury cash management with our AU banking partners
Develop, improve and maintain all financial accounting policies and procedures
Streamlining our subscription and recurring credit card payments and reporting
Ensure system integrations, controls, policies and procedures are implemented and the accuracy and integrity of financial and accounting information is maintained
Drive business process improvements around operating costs, controls, reporting
Vendor management with service providers, suppliers and contractors
Providing a high level of customer service to internal stakeholders
Assisting with preparation of annual budgets and forecasting

What You’ll Have
CA/CPA preferred, finance or accounting tertiary qualification (essential)
5+ years of relevant experience in commercial and/or chartered accountancy
Broad exposure to business with a key focus on details and accuracy
Experience with overseas entities, intercompany invoicing and reconciliation
Team player with a commitment to having a positive impact
Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication
Expert knowledge of SMB accounting software (Xero) and related banking integrations
Strong spreadsheet data analysis skills and interest in problem solving
